Summer-Only Volunteer Opportunities
Program Content
This summer, we are pleased to offer a learn-and-serve opportunity for high school and early college-aged students who are new applicants to our program.
These opportunities are a part of our Summer Intensive Volunteer Program, which includes:
- Service projects to benefit the patients at the hospital
- A healthcare career panel with hospital professionals
- Interactive healthcare trainings
- Certificate of participation
Summer Intensive 2026 Dates
- August 4, 2026 – 9:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
- August 7, 2026 – 9:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Eligibility
Participants must be able to attend both dates in order to participate. Additional details will be given closer to the event for those selected.
**Please note that the Summer Intensive is intended for those who are early in their career and education exploration, typically in the 16-20 year old age range.**
Application Requirements
- Participants must be at least 16 years old by July 1, 2026, to apply
- Must be able to attend both session dates
- Must submit application between February 25 – April 9, 2026.
The deadline to apply is April 9. If the number of applicants exceeds our capacity, participants will be randomly selected from the application pool.
All applicants will be notified of their status by April 17, 2026.
