Virtual Toy Drive

For families who must spend long hours at Lurie Children's, a virtual toy drive helps bring joy and fun during a difficult time. When you start a virtual toy drive fundraiser, your friends and family can make a monetary donation to your online fundraising page instead of donating a physical toy. Funding ensures our Department of Family Services can purchase toys and games to meet the needs and interests of all of our patients. 

How it works:

1. Visit our Community Fundraising website and register to start a fundraiser.
2. Select “Virtual Toy Drive” as your fundraiser type.
3. Set up your personal fundraising page and ask friends and family for a monetary donation instead of a toy donation.
4. With your support, child life specialists purchase meaningful toys and items to meet the needs of patients of all ages and abilities.
5. Toys, games and items are given to patients and used to stock playrooms and the Panda Cares Center of Hope.
