School Fundraising
As a nonprofit medical center, Lurie Children's depends on the generosity of our community to care for kids. Hosting a fundraiser at your school is a great way to engage kids and families, teach the importance of giving back and help to support other children who are experiencing a difficult time.
Engaging students in fundraising activities for Lurie Children's offers a multitude of benefits that extend beyond monetary contributions. Participation in philanthropic endeavors fosters a sense of empathy and compassion in students, instilling values of kindness and social responsibility from an early age. Beyond the financial impact, students develop essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and organizational abilities through planning and executing fundraising events. Additionally, being part of a collective effort to support pediatric healthcare builds a strong sense of community within the school. Moreover, students witness firsthand the positive impact their efforts have on the lives of young patients and their families, creating a profound connection to the broader community and instilling a lifelong commitment to making a positive difference in the world

Superhero Day
Superhero Day is not just a costume party – it's a chance to be a real-life hero for children battling illnesses. We're calling on schools, students, and staff to come together, fundraise, and show our patients that they’re not fighting alone.
