Make a difference by joining us at one of Lurie Children’s annual signature fundraising events. These events provide a way to participate in fun activities while supporting the patients and families at the hospital by raising critical funds for the hospital. Aon Step Up for Kids Presented by KPMG
Step up and climb 80 floors to the top of the Aon Center, one of Chicago's tallest buildings, while raising money to help the children and families at Lurie Children's. You can fundraise as an individual or form a group with family, friends or colleagues. Proceeds will be directed to K.I.D.S.S. for Kids’ annual commitment to the Department of Family Services. CHICAGO Dance Marathon
Each year, hundreds of dedicated Lurie Children’s individuals and team supporters join us on the dance floor for 8 hours of dancing, standing, games, entertainment and inspiring stories from patient families at the CHICAGO Dance Marathon. Chicago Auto Show's First Look for Charity
Be among the first to see new cars and trucks featured in the Chicago Auto Show, while supporting the patients and families at Lurie Children’s. First Look for Charity is an exclusive, black-tie preview of the auto show, featuring a private reception for hospital supporters with small bites, cocktails, unique raffle prizes and more. The excitement continues on the show floor, with the city's finest live entertainment and the chance to win a vehicle. Move for the Kids 5K Run/Walk Presented by C.H. Robinson
Lurie Children’s annual 5K Run/Walk at Chicago’s lakefront debuted in 2005. Since then, more than 27,000 hospital supporters have participated as individuals or as team members, raising more than $3.5 million. Money raised from the race supports the hospital’s areas of greatest need, ensuring that patients receive the best care possible. Pro Amateur Golf Championship & Dinner on the Bluff
Lurie Children’s Pro Amateur Golf Championship is the longest-running and most successful event organized by the hospital’s Founders’ Board. Since 1961, the golf championship, held at the Onwentsia Club in Lake Forest, has raised more than $20 million in support of the hospital. Serving as the official tee-off event for the Pro Am is the elegant Dinner on the Bluff, held the night before at Shoreacres in Lake Bluff. Run for Gus 5K Run/Walk & Kids Dash
The Run for Gus is hosted by Lurie Children’s Young Associate Board (YAB), and raises funds for brain tumor care and research at Lurie Children’s. Hosted on a Thursday evening at the lakefront in Lincoln Park, the event is family friendly and attracts a young professional crowd. 101.9 The MIX
This five-day movement on 101.9fm THE MIX to bring the Chicago community together to raise life-saving funds for Lurie Children’s and help kids in the Chicago area and beyond have brighter futures. For 19 years the event has shared inspirational stories of patients and families cared for at Lurie Children’s, capped by a live broadcast from the hospital on the event’s final day. Gold Coast Fashion Award Show
The Gold Coast Fashion Award Show, the signature fundraising event of the Children’s Service Board brings together some of Chicago’s most influential community leaders for cocktails, fashion and more. The event’s exclusive retail sponsor is Neiman Marcus, and proceeds will support the Board’s commitment to the Department of Family Services. Lurie Children’s Marathon Team
Since 2007, hundreds of runners have come together to run the Bank of America Chicago Marathon as members of the Lurie Children’s Marathon Team. Throughout their training, team members work towards the required fundraising goal, while receiving support in return. Team members receive complimentary endurance training customized to meet the needs of both first-time marathoners and seasoned runners. The Children's Ball
The Children’s Research Fund’s annual fundraising campaign to support pediatric research at the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute at Lurie Children’s is celebrated at the annual Children’s Ball, which also honors the researchers and physician-scientists at the Manne research Center. This elegant black-tie event features hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dancing, and attracts more than 1,000 guests each year, including a number of Chicago’s business and community leaders. Team Lurie Children's DIY
Team Lurie Children’s DIY includes athletes around the world connected by one thing: the mission to ensure brighter and healthier futures for children. Our program empowers athletes to make their training and race experience even more meaningful by raising money in support of the patients and families at Lurie Children’s, regardless of the race location, challenge, or sport they choose. More than 100 members of Team Lurie Children’s have scaled mountains, steered kayaks, ran or pedaled hundreds of miles, or spun at their neighborhood gym to help raise over $900,000.
