How does a charitable gift annuity work?
When you transfer cash or securities to create a charitable gift annuity at Lurie Children's, you receive a lifetime stream of fixed payments. The remaining value of your gift supports the mission of Lurie Children's.
The fixed payments can be quite high depending on your age, and a portion of each payment may even be tax-free.
You will receive a charitable income tax deduction for the gift portion of the annuity.
You also receive satisfaction, knowing that you will be strengthening the future of pediatric medicine and science at Lurie Children's.
