National Nurses Week

National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale's birthday. The nurses at Lurie Children's are committed to providing the highest standard of care based on the knowledge that children are constantly changing individuals who should be encouraged to reach their maximum potential growth and development. Lurie Children’s nurses show up prepared to deliver what our patients need with unrivaled dedication, compassion and curiosity and we are thrilled to celebrate them each year during this special week.

You can honor a nurse who has given their all for your loved one by making a gift to Lurie Children’s in their name. For each gift made, you can send a personalized message of thanks to a nurse who has impacted your family. In recognition of gifts that are $500 or greater, honored caregivers will receive a custom lapel pin to wear proudly.

Your gift can help support our next generation of physicians, fund critical research, discover breakthrough treatments, support families and so much more.
