MyChart is meant to be used for non-urgent matters only. If your child is having an emergency, please dial 911.

When to Schedule Online

• Check-ups – Children 4 months and older
• Sick appointments – Use MyChart sick scheduling if your child is at least 4 months old and has a new illness or symptom listed below that started recently (generally within 72 hours).
  • Fever
  • Runny nose and/or cough
  • Ear/throat pain
  • Rash
  • Pink eye
  • Urinary discomfort or frequency
  • Vomiting and/or diarrhea

Not all visits are appropriate for MyChart sick scheduling. If your child has ongoing symptoms (over 72 hours) such as stomach aches and headaches, or special or complex healthcare needs, please call 312.227.2800 for an appointment so we can schedule the appropriate amount of time for your child.
