Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome (SDS)

A rare, inherited condition that has effects throughout the body, causing poor absorption of fats, bone-marrow dysfunction and skeletal malformations.

Wilms Tumor

Also called nephroblastoma, a cancerous tumor originating in the cells of the kidney.

Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome (WAS)

An extremely rare condition typified by the presence of eczema, thrombocytopenia (low number of blood platelets) and immune deficiency (causing severe infections).

X-linked Lymphoproliferative Disease (XLP)

An extremely rare disorder of the immune system showing itself with infectious mononucleosis, dysgammaglobulinemia (abnormal levels of certain antibodies), and lymphoma.

X-linked Severe Combined Immunodeficiency 1 (SCID-X1)

A rare inherited disease in boy babies in which the body’s cells that fight off infection from certain bacteria, viruses and fungi are lacking or defective.
