Cardiac Catheterization

A procedure in which a long, flexible tube is inserted into the blood vessels and guided into the heart, to visualize the structures inside, collect samples, make incisions and implant devices.

Computerized Tomography (CT)

A CT scan, also called a CAT scan, gives your doctor a closer look at your child's internal organs, bony anatomy, blood vessels and soft tissues, with more detail than a general x-ray.
