Arteriovenous Malformations

Abnormal masses of blood vessels that develop while an unborn baby is growing inside the mother’s uterus.

Ataxia

An abnormal performance of voluntary acts, especially abnormal walking.

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)

A type of ADHD not combined with extreme physical activity, characterized by a lack of working memory, language problems, slow reaction times, low motivation, boredom, and low arousal.

Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)

A condition used to describe children, adolescents and some adults who are inattentive, easily distracted, hyperactive and impulsive in their behavior.

Disorders occuring when the body’s immune system attacks the brain, spinal cord and/or the nerves of the trunk, arms and legs, causing them to lose the ability to transmit signals.

Disorders resulting in a failure of the various bodily functioning normally controlled by the autonomic (or “involuntary”) nervous system or their excessive or overactive functioning.
