Pediatric Immediate Care Centers

Lurie Children's offers both in-person and virtual Immediate Care services, providing expert and convenient care for non-emergencies and non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries for children and adolescents.

To provide the best possible clinical care to children and adolescents, Lurie Children’s Immediate Care is available to patients up to 20 years and 364 days old. For patients 21 and older who are in need of Immediate Care services, we recommend you consult with a primary care physician or specialist to find the right age-appropriate solution for your care needs.

In-Person Visits

Our Immediate Care Clinics in Lincoln Park and Northbrook provide same-day medical services for unexpected illnesses.

Our clinics are open Monday-Friday, 4 p.m.–10 p.m.; and Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, 12 p.m.–6 p.m.

Appointments can be made online or by phone. Walk-ins are also accepted, but due to high patient volumes, Immediate Care reservations sometimes fill up for the day prior to end of clinic hours. Before leaving home, please call the Immediate Care Center to confirm they are still accepting patients for the day.
