Lurie Children's offers same-day in-person and virtual Immediate Care services for the unexpected and, if necessary, onsite x-ray and laboratory services. Our pediatricians provide treatment for non-emergencies and non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries at our Immediate Care Clinic in Lincoln Park and through our Virtual Immediate Care program.
Our partners at PM Pediatric Urgent Care also offer urgent care services at several suburban locations.

Chicago Location
For visits to our Lincoln Park location, we highly recommend make an appointment online to reduce wait times. A limited number of walk-ins are also accepted and are assigned an appointment time upon arrival. Due to high patient volumes, walk-in availability may fill up before the end of clinic hours.

Conditions Treated at Immediate Care Locations
At Lurie Children's Immediate Care Clinic in Lincoln Park, our care team provides urgent treatment for non-emergencies or non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, including those listed below:
- Allergies
- Asthma and other respiratory illnesses
- Broken bones, sprains and other minor traumas
- Colds, coughs and sore throats
- Earaches and ear infections
- Fever in children over 2 months old
- Pink eye
- Rashes
- Specific and nonspecific complaints of pain
- Urinary tract infections
- Vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pain
- COVID-19, Flu, and Strep Throat testing
In addition to the list above, the following conditions are also treated at PM Pediatric Urgent Care locations in Glenview, Mount Prospect and Naperville:
- Dehydration that requires intravenous fluids
- Wounds that require stitches
- Procedures requiring anxiety-reducing methods
