Interventional Cardiology & Catheterization

Lurie Children's Heart Center team of interventional physicians performs about 750 cardiac catheterizations on young patients with congenital heart disease each year.

NICU-Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program

Lurie Children's NICU-Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program: Child & Adolescent Clinic is one of only a few programs nationwide providing care for infants and young children through the Neonatal and Cardiac Intensive Care Follow-Up Clinic and to school-age.

Preventive Cardiology Program

The Preventive Cardiology Program is committed to improving the health of children at risk for heart disease. We care for children who have cardiac risk factors for heart and vascular disease which may include high cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity, and a family history of heart attacks and strokes.

Priority Second Opinion Program

When children are diagnosed with serious heart conditions, Lurie Children's Priority Second Opinion Program offers parents the second or third opinion they’re looking for by bringing together the options of a diverse team of healthcare specialists.

Pulmonary Hypertension Service

Lurie Children’s Pulmonary Hypertension Service cares for children of all ages with pulmonary hypertension, a disease of the very small blood vessels within the lungs, with expertise from Pulmonary Medicine, the Heart Center and Neonatology.
