Binder's Syndrome

Binder’s syndrome, or maxillonasal dysplasia, is a rare congenital condition in which the bones of the face are underdeveloped, causing a sunken mid-face and an extremely flattened nose.

Children with severe cases usually undergo corrective, plastic surgery followed by orthodontic treatment as necessary.
