Positive STEPS
Positive STEPS is a research study at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago at the Center for Gender, Sexuality and HIV Prevention.
Participant Requirements
We’re looking for HIV-positive young folks (under 30 years old) who are taking medication and want to improve taking their meds.
The study monitors medication adherence within a Control Group and an Intervention Group. For the Intervention Group, there will be two-way text messaging, and, for a small portion, five in-person counseling sessions. Participants will receive up to $310 for their time.
Eligible individuals will be invited to our office in Lincoln Park for a visit. All conversations are confidential!
