Strengthening Chicago’s Youth (SCY) serves as a catalyst for innovation and change in the violence prevention sphere by fostering collaboration, advancing policy, and supporting programs like the Juvenile Justice Collaborative and Lurie Children’s Brave Voices. By collaborating with community organizations, system partners, and community members, SCY drives the development of trauma-informed, culturally responsive strategies that address the root causes of violence.
