The research Navigators at Lurie Children’s serve a special and important role, providing individual in-depth assistance to investigators as they engage in clinical and translational research. All the complexities of the research process, from initial planning thru conclusion, are supported by this service.
Consulting with a research Navigator at the beginning of a project can optimize the research start-up process with advice on issues such as study design and logistics. The Navigator will also ensure that researchers are linked to all of the appropriate programs and services that are part of the research infrastructure.
Some areas of specialization are:
Working with teams on large grant proposals
Assisting with grant submissions & providing grant language
Our Navigators work in tandem with research Navigators within NUCATS to provide research support, advice, and management and serves as a liaison for investigators from Lurie Children’s and other NUCATS partners.
