K Channel

The K Channel is now available. Access to the K Channel in Microsoft Teams provides the K investigator (those PI's interested in/who have an NIH K award) with access to:

  • an interactive site to share your questions, experiences, helpful tips and resources with other early stage PI's
  • a "one-stop-shop" for K resources including samples of recent awarded K grants, checklists, funding sources, etc.
  • Learn more.

Bioinformatics Consultations now available

The Director of Bioinformatics in the Department of Pathology, Dr. Sabah Kadri, will hold monthly office hours on the first Thursday of every month at 4 p.m., starting August 6, 2020.

Office Hours can provide assistance in Dr. Kadri’s area of expertise including, but not limited to these areas.

  • Bioinformatic consultation
    • Research teams/students can ask bioinformatics questions related to their research
    • Topics may include: experimental design, RNASeq analysis, variant analysis, programming advice such as R packages, etc.
  • Potential collaboration

Please contact Dr. Kadri via e-mail for an appointment. The subject line should be: “Bioinformatics Office Hours”. You will receive a confirmation and a zoom link for the virtual video meeting.
