A Two-Part Multicenter Prospective Longitudinal Study of CFTR-dependent Disease Profiling in Cystic Fibrosis (PROSPECT)

Official Title: A Two-Part Multicenter Prospective Longitudinal Study of CFTR-dependent Disease Profiling in Cystic Fibrosis (PROSPECT)

Using a novel genomics approach to generate genome-wide expression of CF probands (i.e. patients having 2 CFTR mutations), their parents (carriers of 1 CFTF< mutation) and siblings (having 1 or no CFTR mutations) we will identify gene expression markers for CF disease severity and therapeutic response. Such analyses will ultimately lead to a better understanding of CF pathophysiology, including the identify of severity bio-markers, which may help us develop new and better adapted
