Dr. Arbogast is currently a senior scientist with ACT-GeM. Originally from France, he completed his PhD at the Institut de Génétique et de Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire (IGBMC) Institute with Dr. Yann Herault, where he generated and characterized mouse models for complex syndromes associated with copy number variations (CNVs). In 2015, he joined the Center for Human Disease Modeling (CHDM) at Duke University where, under the direction of Drs. Nico Katsanis and Erica Davis, he pursued his work on 16p11.2 CNVs using both mice and zebrafish. He started working at the ACT-GeM in June 2020. Besides science, he enjoys literature, running, cooking and music.
