Mr. Khan recieved his Master’s degree in Genetics from Hazara University Mansehra KP, Pakistan.
Mr. Khan is currently pursuing graduate studies through strategic partnership between ACT-GeM and Human Molecular Genetics Laboratory (HMGL), Health Biotechnology Division (HBD) at NIBGE. He joined ACT-GeM as a graduate student in January, 2021. His research in our laboratory involves the use of combinatorial approaches to identify and characterize the genetic causes of rare congenital disorders. Mr. Khan uses both cellular and animal models to study the underlying biology of rare pediatric conditions, specializing in VACTERL-associated disorders including cardiac defects and kidney anomalies.
