Mr. Kellaris obtained his Master's degree in Molecular Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Mr. Kellaris is currently a PhD student through a strategic collaboration between ACT-GeM, the Choremio Institute of Medical Genetics and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He joined the Duke Center for Human Disease Modeling in 2017 as a graduate student and is now continuing his work as part of the ACT-GeM team. His research focuses on trio-based exome analysis of syndromic microcephaly cohorts and the development of zebrafish assays to study point mutations and copy number variants in neurodevelopment, craniofacial dysmorphologies, and associated co-morbidities.
