Lurie Children’s prides itself on being a reliable source of information on your child’s diagnosis — and the Sarah and Peer Pedersen Family Learning Center (PFLC) is here to help with that mission.
Located on the 12th floor behind the red fire truck, the PFLC is a resource space where our patients and families can access educational resources and learn more about available services to support your family.
While at Lurie Children's, you may find that you need to print or fax paperwork -- this could be insurance forms, FMLA paperwork, or other important documents. If you need to do this, the PFLC has computers, printers, and fax machines to help you get these things crossed off your list.
In addition to our computers, we also have printed resources about certain health topics and from different reputable organizations.
We have created a list of websites that have reliable health information. If you want to do some research about your child’s condition, diagnosis, or treatment plan – consider starting with one of these websites.
We also have printed resources in the PFLC to help you learn more about various health conditions or organizations that may be related to your child's diagnosis. You’re welcome to take these printed materials with you!
