Inside Child Life: Career Information Session
The Child Life Department at Lurie Children’s offers free, in-person information sessions for those wanting to learn more about the career and for aspiring child life specialists navigating the pathway into the field.
Join us to hear first-hand from Certified Child Life Specialists and participate in learning opportunities through interactive discussion and hands-on exploration. The sessions will also include a tour of our activity spaces and a Q&A session.
What to Expect
- 1 Hour Informational Session
- Topics covered include:
- Role of a Child Life Specialist
- Child Life interventions
- Path to becoming a Child Life Specialist
- Tour of Lurie Children's activity spaces
Requirements
- Complete this interest form. (Please submit at least 2 business days before session date)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). You will be required to sign a HIPAA confidentiality form.
