Top children’s hospital in Illinois with rankings in all 10 specialties 

Chicago, June 18, 2019 ... Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago continues to be the top children’s hospital in Illinois with rankings in all 10 specialties, including the Cardiology/Heart Surgery program which has climbed to #2. Other specialties ranked in the top 10 nationally include Urology (#5), Gastroenterology/GI Surgery (#8) and Nephrology (#10).

“These accomplishments reflect the hospital’s investment in achieving healthier futures for every child,” said Patrick M. The U.S. News Best Children’s Hospitals rankings help parents determine where to get the best medical care for their children. The rankings highlight the top 50 U.S. pediatric facilities in 10 specialties, from cancer to urology.

The rankings rely on clinical data and on an annual survey of pediatric specialists.
