Our board-certified neonatologists provide the most advanced care to premature and critically ill neonates and staff Silver Cross Hospital’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This newly designated Level III nursery is the only one in Will County and includes:
- Onsite and on-call 24/7
- Attending high-risk deliveries
- Managing high-risk neonates
- Specialized diagnosis and management of:
- Congenital anomalies
- Low birth weight
- Premature birth
- Disorders of the lung and gastrointestinal system
Our Hospitalist Program provides:
- Board-certified/board-eligible pediatricians
- Daily management of pediatric inpatients
- In-house care 24/7 in the pediatric inpatient unit
- Coordination of care with child’s pediatrician
- Consults in the newborn nursery
- Pediatric consults in the Silver Cross
- Emergency Department
