What is Epic Community Connect?

Community Connect allows affiliated pediatric primary care providers to use Lurie Children’s Epic EHR system and its full range of features and capabilities for the care and treatment of their patients.

How it works

Community Connect offers a cost-effective way for healthcare providers to access Epic’s EHR system without the substantial upfront and recurring costs associated with an independent installation. This can lead to significant cost savings for providers while also enjoying the benefits of the leading EHR system.

Your staff would access the Epic EHR system hosted by Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago from your organization’s location(s). The system would support your ambulatory front desk, clinical, and revenue cycle areas.

Access to our EHR allows patient medical history, whether documented by your organization or ours, to exist in one chart providing a complete longitudinal record of all medical care.

Who can use it?

Pediatric primary care physician organizations in Illinois can use Community Connect.

Features

Community Connect provides access to many Epic applications, additional features, and support. Security controls allow non-employed providers to share clinical information while keeping other information private.
