Healing Culture

A healing culture serves as the foundation for self, colleagues and patients/families to uphold equity, respect, dignity, and belonging. A healing culture:

  • Fosters relationships to provide an environment of social support
  • Inspires nurses to find meaning and purpose in their work and celebrate accomplishments
  • Promotes wellbeing and the opportunity for all to thrive

Lurie Children’s Department of Nursing & Allied Health Professionals continuously works to uphold a Healing Culture.
