
The purpose of this program is to provide a comprehensive overview, including pathophysiology and treatment options, for children, adolescents, and young adults undergoing stem cell transplant (SCT); review nursing management of caring for children, adolescents, and young adults undergoing SCT; provide case studies/clinical scenarios to enhance the learning process.
The first two days will include materials from the APHON SCT Curriculum (Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nursing) and the half day will cover Lurie Children’s specific materials
