Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program: Spring into Remission!
Please join us for our 5th annual “Spring into Remission!” Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) symposium for patients and families with IBD being cared for at Lurie Children’s. This in-person event on Saturday, May 16 is FREE and will include presentations from leaders of the IBD team, interactive Q & A sessions, and moderated panel discussions. Space is limited, please register soon!
Who should attend
This event is curated for patients with IBD and for ANY parents of children with IBD (regardless of child’s age).
Child care will not be available at the symposium. Please be respectful and step out of conference center as needed. Thank you for your understanding.

Patient Scholarship Awards
Who is eligible? All current patients with IBD cared for at Lurie Children's.
What can scholarship be used for? Any project, activity, technology or otherwise that might benefit patient's academic success
How much is available? Up to $500 based on availability
*Attendance at Symposium strongly encouraged to receive your award
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so please submit ASAP (deadline 5/3/26)
New! Symposium Program Cover Design Award
We want your help designing this year's symposium program! Winner will have their design added program and win $500.
Please submit any design that you feel represents your experience with IBD and journey toward remission (in highest resolution possible). We have included last year's program cover as an example.
Please submit your designs no later than April 14, 2026 (winner will be selected and notified by April 21, 2026)
Parking
We are happy to cover the cost of parking. Please park in the Huron-Superior A Garage, then stop by our check-in table on the 11th Floor and ask us for a validation ticket.
Coffee, lunch, and free swag will be provided to patients and their families.
Photo Consent
A Photo Consent Form must be completed for each person attending. Each person 18 years and older must complete and sign their own form. For children under the age of 18, their parent/legal guardian must complete and sign the photo consent form.
