  7. Differentiate urticaria from potential look-alikes such as erythema multiforme and urticaria multiforme, and recognize concerning disorders such as Stevens Johnson syndrome, DRESS syndrome, and staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome.
  8. Manage a variety of infestations based on updated recommendations (including the recommended approach to utilizing lice therapies), and recommend the safe use of insect repellents in pediatric patients.
  9. Review the classification of vascular lesions in children, and review diagnostic and treatment recommendations for infantile hemangiomas, vascular malformations, and associated syndromes.
  10. Develop an acne treatment plan for pediatric acne, and know when to refer for escalated treatments.
  11. Review the presentation and treatment options for some more common autoimmune skin conditions, including vitiligo, alopecia areata, lupus, morphea, and dermatomyositis.
