Seeking enhanced skills, knowledge and capacity to implement evidence-based best clinical practice using cutting edge techniques?
This workshop introduces foundational requirements for rigorous, reliable evidence implementation, including:
- Defining and integrating evidence into audit criteria
- The role of theories, models and frameworks within cyclic audit and feedback mechanisms for sustainable change
- JBI’s Seven Phases of Evidence Implementation for individual or organization-led practice change and quality improvement
- Proven strategies for pre-implementation planning, implementation and evaluation and sustainability of change
- Further develop their clinical leadership skills, strengths to evaluate personal and organizational culture and capacity for change, and
- An introduction to Endorsement: JBI’s flagship approach to sustainable implementation of best practice and opportunity to engage in global partnerships to strengthen healthcare capacity.
This intensive workshop uses discussion, group and individual exercises to explore and explain strategies that promote evidence implementation and collaboratively develop understandings related to clinical leadership and change management in healthcare.
The JBI Evidence Implementation Workshop is designed for health professionals, executive managers, audit managers, quality coordinators, data register managers, surveillance staff for aid agencies, WHO and resource groups, academics and students interested in building competency in the fundamentals of evidence implementation.
Meetings will be held in-person and virtually. If attending virtually, these events will be live streamed via Microsoft Teams. Details on how to join the livestream will be sent shortly before the events.
JBI Scoping Review Course
Thursday April 20, 2023, 9a.m. - 5p.m., Location: 155 East Superior, Conference Room S.104, Chicago, IL 60611, visitor badges will be provided

This one-day workshop enables participants to explore the theories and concepts relating to scoping reviews and other types of evidence synthesis, and equip participants with the knowledge and tools required to successfully plan for and undertake and report a scoping review following the JBI approach.
Designed for clinicians, public health professionals, academics, researchers and others to determine the most appropriate review methodology for their question, with a particular focus on scoping reviews.

Parking
Parking vouchers for all 3 dates will be given for the parking garage at 321 E. Erie; walking instructions and a map will be also be provided.
