Who We Are

The Chicagoland Perfusion Foundation (CPF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities, professional connections and assistance for people engaged in Perfusion careers. The CPF continues to build a regional community of support for Perfusionists in the Chicagoland area looking for many of the same educational opportunities and benefits of attending the larger, costlier National meetings right here in our backyard. Additionally, the CPF recognizes the need to foster the education of future generations of Perfusionists to help ensure students in the field those opportunities to succeed. Our goal of raising funds for additional humanitarian causes will be guided by the contemporary needs of our community, and the needs of the greater circle of connections to our profession.

The CPF will achieve its mission to support Perfusionists by directing resources toward the following goals:

  • Provide educational incentives, opportunities and assistance for practicing Perfusionists and students in the Chicagoland area.
  • Promote and provide education, training, and resources that will guide optimal patient care.
  • Involve the community in assuring our regional level of professional excellence is maintained at the top of expectations for the leaders and workers of tomorrow.
  • Identify and provide resources to humanitarian causes directly related to our profession.
  • Recognize and reward individuals for exemplary efforts to provide these opportunities.
  • Offer educational grants for students pursuing a degree in Perfusion Sciences.

With the generous support of business, and individual voluntary donations, the Chicagoland Perfusion Foundation can provide accessible educational resources that increase learning opportunities and contribute to improved patient care while providing much needed CEU credits through easy to access local meetings. The CPF has successfully hosted meetings for several years now at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The central Chicago location and state of the art conference facility help provide the best experience at reasonable costs.

Upcoming Meeting

Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2020.
