Pediatric Nutrition Forward: Collaborative Approaches in Specialized Care
This program is designed for dietitians, diet technicians, students of nutrition and other healthcare professionals who are involved with the nutritional care of children. This conference will be in-person and virtual, and will be recorded. While the conference is hybrid, nursing professionals and nursing students will participate virtually due to limited in-person space. Nurses who submit accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to attend in-person.

*Nursing professionals and nursing students must register virtually due to limited in-person space, with the exception of those selected for our poster session.
*Students must bring their student ID for registration on the day of the conference.

Continuing Education
CPE activity application for Pediatric Nutrition Forward: Collaborative Approaches in Specialized Care is pending CDR review and approval for 8.75 CPEUs. The Illinois Early Intervention Training Program has approved this event for 2.5 hours of EI credential credit in the area of Working With Families of Children with Special Needs, 1.25 hours of EI credential credit in the area of Atypical Child Development, and 2 hours of EI credential credit in the area of Intervention Strategies for Children with Special Needs. Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Abstract Submissions
We welcome abstracts from clinicians and students which could include case studies, successful educational tools, development of new services and clinics, public policy efforts, and current research in the nutritional management of pediatrics.
Submit an abstract for the Nutrition Conference Poster Session. Selected posters will be displayed, with complimentary poster printing provided. Participants with selected posters will also receive guaranteed in-person attendance and complimentary registration for the networking event. Additionally, two outstanding abstracts will be chosen for 15-minute oral presentations, with presenters receiving complimentary registration for both the conference and the networking event.
Abstract submission deadline: February 28, 2025
Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified via email no later than March 10, 2025.
Authors chosen for virtual oral presentations will be notified no later than March 17, 2025.
Networking Event
An in-person networking event will follow the conference. This registration add-on is open to everyone, whether you attend in-person or virtually.
