An Educational Meeting Developed by Sonographers for Sonographers
Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago presents the Chicago Sonographer Update 2021: Echocardiographic Assessment of Common Congenital Heart Disease and Coronary Artery Imaging Workshop. This conference will focus on the assessment and diagnosis of common types of congenital heart defects in the pediatric population. The workshop was designed with the sonographer’s learning experience in mind. Lurie Children’s cardiologists and sonographers will lead the lectures. Live echo imaging will also give attendees an opportunity to improve their understanding of anatomy and scanning technique for assessing the pediatric imaging protocol and how to assess and properly image coronary arteries.

This course is designed for cardiac sonographers, fellows in training, pediatric cardiologists and sonography students embarking on a career in pediatric cardiac sonography. Participants should have a basic understanding of echocardiography.

The session on Saturday, April 17, 2021 will include presentations and demonstration of live scanning with interactive Q & A sessions and moderated panel discussions with 4.25 hours AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ available. Six (6) additional credit hours based review of enduring on-demand material and replays of the Saturday lectures will be available to all registrants for 14 days.
