This slide presentation provides an overview and history of EMSC, both nationally and within our state. It also reviews the facility recognition program and the three levels of recognition: Pediatric Critical Care Center (PCCC), Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) and Standby Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (SEDP). The requirements associated with each of these levels is also addressed in this presentation as well as resources that can be accessed during the application process
