Illinois JumpSTART© Training

JumpSTART© is a pediatric triage process that is utilized during a mass casualty event. 

In 2019, the Illinois JumpSTART Triage Training Curriculum underwent revisions (minor updates were made in August 2022). Updates were made to both the Instructor and Provider Courses. Handout Materials

It is recommended that instructors conduct a minimum of one (1) provider class per year, or two (2) classes in a two year period, as well as complete a refresher training every other year. A refresher training can consist of reviewing the instructor module and materials on the EMSC website to ensure the most current materials are being utilized.
