Dr. Joyce Woo is a born-and-raised Illinoisan, pediatric and fetal cardiologist, and health services researcher. Her advanced training includes non-invasive cardiac imaging, health economics, and biostatistics. Her care philosophy centers on providing the most accurate information possible, in order to support patients with cardiac disease from the fetal period through adolescence, as well as their families. Her research program focuses on optimizing efficiency and equity of pediatric and fetal cardiac care, and is currently supported by federal (NIH/NHLBI) and foundation grants.
