About Me

Teresa Wolanski is a Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages — from newborns to teens. She is excited to join Lurie Children’s, where she specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions such as ear infections, hearing concerns, cerumen impaction, recurrent tonsillitis, obstructive sleep apnea, tongue ties, nasal congestion, allergic rhinitis, nosebleed, nasal fracture, and ear and nose foreign bodies.

Teresa believes that caring for children means caring for their families, throughout their healthcare journey. She takes the time to explain diagnoses, answer questions, and make sure parents feel informed and supported when making decisions about their child’s care. Her goal is to create a comfortable, trusting environment where kids feel safe and parents feel confident in the care their child receives.

After earning her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Teresa has spent her career in clinic, inpatient, and surgical settings, helping families navigate every step of their ENT care journey.

When she’s not caring for patients, Teresa enjoys skiing, gardening, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
