About Me
Dr. Schneider is a pediatric psychologist embedded within Lurie Children's Palliative Care team. She provides clinical care to children, adolescents, and young adults with serious, life-threatening illnesses. Dr. Schneider is committed to providing culturally sensitive, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each patient. In her practice, she aims to recognize and build upon patients’ and families’ strengths.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Schneider is actively engaged in research. Her current research interests include illness communication among adolescents and young adults, global psycho-oncology in low resource settings, and psychology integration in the pediatric intensive care unit.
