About

Dr. Sigita Plioplys is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Lurie Children's Hospital. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Lurie Children's.

Dr. Plioplys is a pediatric neuropsychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience. She is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in pediatric neuropsychiatry. Her primary clinical focus is outpatient diagnostic evaluations and treatment of youth with neurological disorders, specifically epilepsy. She also provides consultations for second opinions.

Dr. Plioplys is a Co-Chair of Physically Ill Child Committee at the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
