Barb Pearl, MS, RDN, LDN is the Outpatient Clinical Nutrition Manager. Barb is a registered and licensed dietitian currently supporting the Wellness and Weight Management Program. Barb obtained her BS degree from the University of Illinois in Dietetics and her MS degree in Dietetics from Boston University. She completed her dietetic internship at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and has been a registered, licensed dietitian for more than 30 years. Barb’s nutrition and dietetic roles have included Chief Dietitian at Mac Neal Hospital, the Pediatric/Adolescent/Eating Disorder dietitian at Lutheran General Hospital, Nutrition Scientist/Nutrition Communications Officer at The Kraft Heinz Foods Company, President of the North Suburban Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and owner and dietitian at Barb Pearl Nutrition, a private practice nutrition counseling service for children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, she has authored two books, Brown Bag Success and Eating Right from 8 to 18.
