Dr. Mets-Halgrimson, MD, MPH, has been a pediatric ophthalmologist and surgeon at Lurie Children’s since 2013. She has expertise in treating a wide range of pediatric ophthalmologic conditions, especially eye muscle disorders and genetic diseases of the eye. She also studies pediatric ophthalmologic complications and has authored several scientific publications on congenital glaucoma, Marfan syndrome and other conditions. In clinic, Dr. Mets-Halgrimson’s goal is to spend all the time with patient families that they need to fully understand their child’s condition and the treatment they need.
