About

Dr. Andrew Ligsay is dual trained in Pediatric Sleep Medicine and Pediatric Cardiology, one of the only trained physicians in both pediatric specialties. He focuses his care on children with connective tissue disorders and single ventricle physiology.

Dr. Ligsay completed his first fellowship training in pediatric cardiology at University of Michigan Hospital in 2023 followed by his second fellowship at Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center in 2024. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of California- San Diego in 2020. Already board certified in pediatrics, he is board eligible in pediatric cardiology and pediatric sleep medicine.

His current research interest includes the evaluation of sleep disordered treatment in in single ventricle physiology. Dr. Ligsay is passionate about improving the care of cardiology patients and this starts with helping them grow from a neurodevelopmental perspective by tailoring a program specific to that child.
