About Me

Born and raised in Bettendorf, Iowa, Amanda moved to Chicago upon completion of her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa in 2001. Her nursing career began at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Lincoln Park in the pediatric intensive care unit in 2002. She became a pediatric nurse practitioner in 2005 and continued to work in the pediatric intensive care unit. In 2010, she transitioned to the cardiac catheterization lab and cardiology outpatient clinics as an Advanced Practice Nurse. More recently, she took the role as Director of the Interventional Cardiology program of the Heart Center.
