Amanda Labadie, APRN-NP

Amanda was born and raised in Bettendorf, Iowa. She moved to Chicago upon completion of her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa in 2001. Her nursing career began at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Lincoln Park in the pediatric intensive care unit. While working as a nurse, she went back to school at the University of Illinois at Chicago to obtain her master’s degree in nursing and became a pediatric nurse practitioner in 2005. She worked in the pediatric intensive care unit for 8 years. In 2010, she transitioned to the Heart Center and cardiac catheterization lab as an Advanced Practice Nurse. More recently, she became manager of the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs in 2020.
