Dr. Edward "Teddy" Jones is a Pediatric and Genetic Cardiologist who specializes in Cardiovascular Genetics. He focuses his care on children with genetically-mediated structural heart disease and aortopathies.

Dr. Jones completed his Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology training at Texas Children's Hospital / Baylor College of Medicine, where he was chief pediatrics resident and chief cardiology fellow. He also completed additional dedicated training in Cardiovascular Genetics at Texas Children's Hospital. Prior to his medical training, Dr. Jones was a 2nd grade teacher.

Dr. Jones is involved in many multi-disciplinary clinical offerings at Lurie Children's, including the Turner Syndrome Program, Williams Syndrome Program, Bicuspid Aortic Valve Program, and Connective Tissue Disorder Program. His clinical practice concentrates primarily on syndromic congenital heart disease, genetic aortopathies (including connective tissue disorders and familial thoracic aortic aneurysms and dissections), congenital heart disease genetics, cardiovascular imaging, and general pediatric cardiology.
