Shelby Johnson, OD

Dr. Johnson is actively involved in clinical research advancing pediatric eye health and myopia management. She has served as an investigator on multiple multicenter clinical trials and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and educational articles. She lectures nationally on myopia management, pediatric ocular disease, and evidence-based clinical care.

Dr. Johnson earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she also completed a residency in Pediatrics and Primary Care Optometry. She later earned a Master of Public Health from the State University of New York at Albany. She serves in leadership roles within several national optometric organizations and is passionate about community outreach, interprofessional collaboration, and expanding access to high-quality pediatric vision care. Above all, she is dedicated to partnering with families to provide compassionate, individualized care that helps every child achieve their best possible vision, development and quality of life.
