Dr. John Ford specializes in pediatric and adolescent orthodontics, craniofacial anomalies and nasoalveolar molding (NAM.) He is a specialist on the Lurie Children’s Cleft Lip and Palate Program team. Dr. Ford is a licensed and board certified specialist in orthodontics, practicing for more than 37 years in the Chicago area.
He has been actively involved in continuing education during his career and has served in leadership roles in the profession, including as president of the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, president of a component branch of the Chicago Dental Society and chair of two Councils of the American Association of Orthodontists. He served as an adjunct professor of orthodontics for more than 20 years at the former Northwestern University Dental School. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Fellow of the American College of Dentists and Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
