About Me

Dr. Lisa Forbess is the Medical Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Program at The Willis J. Potts Heart Center as well as an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Forbess graduated from Harvard Medical School and trained in Adult and Pediatric Cardiology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Forbess is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease as well as Adult Congenital Heart Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Forbess is a member of the American Heart Association (AHA), Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA), and American College of Cardiology (ACC).

Clinical Interests: Preconception counseling and management of pregnancy in patients with congenital heart disease
