About Me
Dr. Gal Finer is a pediatric kidney specialist at Lurie Children’s who cares for children with rare genetic kidney disorders, including Bardet-Biedl syndrome, and other conditions present from birth. She works closely with families to find answers, offer hope, and create care plans that meet each child’s unique needs. Dr. Finer also leads research to better understand how kidneys develop and why certain genetic changes cause disease, helping bring new discoveries from the lab to the clinic.
