About Me
I am passionate about genetics and am excited to continue learning new things every day. I’m grateful to be in a role where I will not only identify genetic variants but will translate complex genetic information into compassionate care for our patients.
Carra received her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the Medical College of Wisconsin and was certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling in 2026. She began her career at Lurie Children’s as a laboratory genetic counselor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, where her primary role is the analysis and reporting of genetic testing results.
